Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Apron Analytics collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect (a) account information you provide — name, email, and role; (b) restaurant operational data you import or enter — sales, menu, inventory, employee, scheduling, and financial records; and (c) usage data — device, browser, and interaction logs that help us operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the Service (dashboards, scheduling, reporting), process payments, send shift and account notifications, provide support, secure the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Legal Bases (GDPR/CCPA)

Where applicable, we process your data based on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. Residents of California and the EU/UK have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain data — contact us to exercise them.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help run the platform (hosting, payments, email delivery) under contracts that limit their use, and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Third-party integrations (POS, accounting) are authorized by you directly with the third party; their handling of your data is governed by their own policies.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level isolation so that one restaurant cannot see another's data. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and promptly investigate incidents.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, for billing reconciliation, or to resolve disputes.

7. Employee & Payroll Data

If you import employee, wage, or time-clock records, you are the controller of that data and warrant that you have the necessary consents and legal basis to process it. Apron Analytics processes it on your behalf and does not use employee personal data for its own purposes beyond operating the Service.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and optional analytics to understand usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser; some features may be affected. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us through the support channel in the Service. We will verify your identity before acting on requests involving personal data.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect data during international transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted in the Service or communicated by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, contact us through the support channel in the Service. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. The Service is operated by LON Services LLC, which is responsible for your personal data under this Privacy Policy.
